FRAME NOT INCLUDED
Inspired by Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue On Black", this 8 inch by 10 inch original acrylic painting on canvas features bold streaks and spatters in a variety of vibrant colors on an light metallic blue background.
Ice on the River is quite deviation from my usual style. It seems so random and chaotic- just like life. But taken all together it makes its own beautiful pattern- just like life.
And it is all so fragile. Like ice on a river, the foundations we build our lives on are far more delicate than we often realize. All too easily they could crack and crumble beneath us with no warning.
This makes it seems that perhaps the efforts we make are futile and pointless- whispers on a scream. Yet we carry on anyway, leaving our mark in the grand pattern.
This painting is not signed on the front but it is signed with the title and artist’s full signature on the back
